SUPPORTING YOUTH ATHLETES IN DOUGLAS COUNTY, OREGON • ELIMINATING FINANCIAL BARRIERS • PROVIDING ESSENTIAL RESOURCES •
About
In 2018, the Stapleton Family created the Lance Michael Emmons Athletic Scholarship Fund in memory of our son and brother, Lance. This fund is a Partner Fund through Mercy Foundation.
What started as a music scholarship (for Lance's first love) evolved into an athletic scholarship as a way to impact more members of our community. Athletics has played a huge part in the life of our entire family and we want to insure youth athletes aren't prohibited for participating in sports because of financial barrier.
Our main source of funding is our annual cocktail party and golf tournament held in August at Bar Run Golf + RV. See our events page for details.
We also accept direct donations through the Mercy Foundation website.
